Instant Moments

The images are all moments and memories from some years ago. It is from really good times, mostly at my Brooklyn home. All is shot on Polaroid Spectra film. So me and my friends could enjoy them instantly. Then they were put away and archived in boxes thinking I want to do something like a book. When I moved to Japan in 2011 it was quite a big change. I found myself in a very foreign country, with no friends and no work. Missing my friends, being nostalgic and having free time I started to scan and put together all the images. And I had a good time doing it because I could remember all those happy times with my friends.It's also about being young, hanging out and having a good time with friends that are like family. Me and most of my friends lived in NYC without any family. Everybody comes from a different far away country and in NYC your friends become your family. It's about love!
